New construction AV in Palm Beach County

Make your new home easy to enjoy from day one

Building a house is a lot of decisions. Where the TVs go, where you want music, whether the Wi-Fi will reach the back bedroom or the pool deck. It's easy to put those choices off until the end, and then find out the wires you need aren't in the walls.

We help people building new homes in Boca Raton, Delray Beach, Boynton Beach, Parkland, Wellington, Jupiter, West Palm Beach and the rest of Palm Beach County get it right the first time. We plan it with you, we wire it while the walls are open, and we come back at the end to put it all together. No twenty apps, no mystery wires, just a home that works.

Right now we're making that last step even easier: when you buy your equipment from us at MSRP, the labor for the final install is free.

The offer, in plain words

  • You're building a new home
  • You buy your TVs, speakers and equipment from us at MSRP (the maker's regular list price)
  • We do the standard final install labor for free
  • Prewire is not included. We quote it separately
  • The in-home quote is always free

๐Ÿ—๏ธ Free final install labor on new homes ยท Prewire quoted separately.

Offer valid for new home construction only. Equipment must be purchased from Audio Video Interior at MSRP. Prewire, wire, mounts and materials are quoted separately. Free labor covers standard final installation of purchased equipment; custom work, additional trips and change orders are quoted. Offer subject to change or end at any time.

What the free final install covers

The last step, done for you

The final install is the part at the end of your build, after the paint and before you move in. It's when everything we planned actually shows up in the room. Here's what that includes:

  • Hanging your TVs on the wall at the right height, level and centered, with the wires hidden in the wall where the prewire was run.
  • Putting in your speakers, whether they go in the ceiling, in the wall, out on the patio or around the pool, and hooking them up.
  • Setting up your equipment: receivers, streaming boxes, Wi-Fi access points, music players and anything else you bought from us.
  • Getting it all working together and testing every room, so the right picture and sound come on when you press the button.
  • A walk-through so you and your family know how to use it. We keep it simple.

Mounts, wire, brackets and other materials are not part of the free labor. We list them in your quote. Custom work, extra trips and changes after the plan is set are quoted too, so you always know the cost up front.

Why plan before the drywall

Wires are easy now and hard later

While your walls and ceilings are still open, running a wire is quick and clean. Once the drywall is up and painted, the same wire can mean cutting holes, patching and repainting, or settling for cords running down the wall.

A little planning now saves money and headaches later. Think about where you'll actually watch TV. Do you want music in the kitchen and out by the pool? Is there a room you might turn into a movie room in a few years? Even if you don't buy everything today, it's smart to put the wire in now so it's ready when you are.

Florida homes have their own quirks too: concrete block walls, tile floors and big open layouts can make Wi-Fi spotty. Running network wire to a few spots in the ceiling during the build is the easiest way to get strong Wi-Fi in every room. See our network and Wi-Fi page for more.

Prewire planning (quoted separately)

The prewire, explained simply

The prewire is the wiring that goes in during construction, before the walls are closed up. It's the low voltage part of your build: TV wiring, speaker wire, network cable for Wi-Fi and cameras, and wire for doorbells or keypads if you want them.

The prewire is not part of the free labor offer. It's quoted separately, and the quote is free. Brandon will look at your plans or walk the house with you, mark where everything goes, and give you a clear price. We label every wire and run them back to one neat spot, so it's easy to work on for years.

Not sure what you need yet? That's normal. We can run a few extra wires to the places you're most likely to want something later. It doesn't cost much while the walls are open, and it keeps your options open.

Room-by-room ideas

Start small. Grow when you're ready.

Full home automation isn't for everyone, and you don't need it to love your new home. Most people start with one or two things that make life easier, then add more later. Here are some easy places to start:

Living room or family room

One great TV setup, wires hidden, good sound and one simple remote. This is where most people start. See TV mounting and our TVs at MSRP.

Kitchen & open areas

A couple of ceiling speakers so you can play music while you cook. They blend in with the lights. More on whole-home audio.

Patio, lanai & pool

An outdoor TV for game day and speakers for pool time, built for the Florida weather. See outdoor audio & TV.

Wi-Fi everywhere

A few wired access points in the ceiling so Wi-Fi works in every bedroom, the garage and out by the pool.

Movie room or bonus room

Plan the wiring now even if the movie room comes later. When you're ready, it's an easy upgrade. See home theaters and media rooms.

Simple one-button control

Want one button for "movie night" or "goodnight"? We can set that up. Bigger systems for lights, shades and more are there if you want them. See smart home.

How it works

Four simple steps

  1. 1. Free in-home quoteWe meet at your home or lot (or talk by phone), look at your plans and talk about how you live. Then we make a simple plan together.
  2. 2. Prewire quotedYou get a clear quote for the prewire, wire and materials. Once you say go, we run the wires before the drywall goes up.
  3. 3. Buy your gear at MSRPPick your TVs, speakers and equipment with our help, and buy them from us at the maker's regular list price.
  4. 4. Free final installWhen the house is ready, we install and set up the equipment you bought, test every room and show you how it works. Labor is free.

Builders & general contractors

Easy to work with on the job site

We know a build runs on a schedule. We show up when we say we will, work around the other trades, and keep the site clean. We'll coordinate the prewire with your builder or general contractor, check in before drywall, and come back for the final install when the house is ready.

We're fully insured, including design coverage, so builders and homeowners can plan with confidence. Builders who want to offer AV and smart home upgrades to their buyers can see our builder program.

Questions

New construction FAQ

What does free labor on the final install mean?

When your new home is almost done, we come back to hang the TVs, put in and hook up the speakers, set up your equipment and make sure everything works. If you bought that equipment from us at MSRP, we don't charge for that standard install labor.

Is the prewire included?

No. The prewire is the wire that goes into the walls and ceilings before the drywall goes up. It's quoted separately. The in-home quote is free, and Brandon will walk through it with you so you know exactly what it covers.

What does MSRP mean?

MSRP is the manufacturer's suggested retail price, the regular list price the maker sets. You pay that price for your equipment, the same as you'd see listed by the maker, and the standard final install labor is on us.

Are mounts, wire and other materials included?

No. Mounts, wire, brackets and other materials are quoted separately, along with the prewire. We'll list them clearly in your quote so there are no surprises.

Does this work if I'm remodeling, not building?

This offer is for new home construction only. If you're remodeling or upgrading an existing home, give us a call anyway. We do that work every day and the quote is still free.

I'm not sure I want a smart home. Is that OK?

Totally. Full home automation isn't for everyone. Plenty of people just want one great TV setup, good Wi-Fi in every room and a simple remote. Start there. We can run a few extra wires now so you can add more later if you ever want to.

When should I call you during my build?

As early as you can, ideally before framing is finished and well before drywall. That gives us time to plan where the TVs and speakers go and to get the prewire in at the right stage. If your walls are already closed, call anyway and we'll tell you what's still possible.

Can you work with my builder or contractor?

Yes. We work with builders and general contractors all the time. We'll coordinate the prewire with their schedule, walk the house with your site supervisor if needed, and come back for the final install when the house is ready.

What areas do you cover?

We work on new homes across Palm Beach County and South Florida, including Boca Raton, Delray Beach, Boynton Beach, Parkland, Wellington, Jupiter and West Palm Beach.

What isn't covered by the free labor?

Custom work, extra trips and changes made after the plan is set (change orders) are quoted separately. The free labor covers the standard final install of the equipment you bought from us.
